1. Do I need to be artistic or bring a creative project?
Not at all. Creative exploration is simply an invitation. You are welcome to journal, draw, read, work quietly on a project, pull an oracle card, or simply enjoy the space and rest. No artistic experience is necessary, and you are absolutely welcome to come simply for the tea ritual and quiet space. Resting is just as meaningful as creating.
2. What kind of tea will we drink? What can I expect with the ritual?
Tea is provided each week and will feature thoughtfully selected loose-leaf teas, primarily traditional teas from Camellia sinensis sourced through Living Tea. We'll occasionally explore their signature, origins, and seasonal qualities as part of our practice. (Note: Some teas will naturally include caffeine.) This class is inspired by traditional tea practices but is intentionally casual, simple and approachable. Think of it as a weekly tea ritual rather than a formal ceremony. The emphasis is on slowing down, engaging the senses, and enjoying tea together.
3. What is a creative ecosystem?
A creative ecosystem is a way of living that nurtures our relationship with the body, nature, and imagination, creating the conditions where creativity can naturally emerge and be sustained.
4. What if I've never done anything like this before?
Perfect. No experience with tea, meditation, or creative practices is needed. Come exactly as you are. Everything is offered as an invitation, never an expectation.
